Do you know where Mullion is? Have you ever thought about a Mullion camping holiday? Mullion is one of the largest villages to be found on the Lizard Peninsula. Camping in Mullion allows access to shops, galleries, inns, restaurants, cafes and even a golf course. Part of its history is thought to date back to at least the 11th century. Mullion cove is owned by the National Trust. The harbour offers protection for the local people who are lucky enough to reside in Mullion all year round. The Cornish people are so friendly you will want to return year after year and not always at the same time. The changing seasons shows off different aspects of the Cornish countryside. The views from campsites also change with the season. Winter storms, especially those experienced in Porthleven, attract a number of spectators. Between November and the following March Porthleven can be bombarded at any time making it an ideal holiday place for those who love rough mountainous seas.

There are always late and early season deals to be found when camping in Mullion. Cornwall is usually a degree or two warmer during these periods compared with the rest of the country but it isn’t always the case.
